The SDG Tech Awards is not just an award show celebrating and gathering sustainable technologies, but a multi-phase program that creates a permanent community of like-minded companies to share their tech, collaborate, and facilitate concrete developments towards the green transition.
Phase 1: Nomination Period
Our Nomination Committee works hard to nominate innovative sustainable technology developed or implemented by startups, SMEs, and corporations between Aug 25 – Sept 12
Nominees confirm their participation by Sept 22 and receive a digital nominee badge
Confirmed participants complete the GIA Screening Tool OR the full Green Impact Assessment by Oct 10 to provide information about your sustainable technology to our external jury panel.

Phase 2: Assessments Period
Completed GIAs are used by our external jury panel to score each sustainable technology and determine the category finalists and winners between Oct 14 – 31
People’s Choice Award: share your nomination to your network asking them to vote for the most impactful sustainable technology between Oct 14 – November 2. The nominee with the most votes will be announced at the SDG Tech Awards show as the People’s Choice
Finalists are announced on November 4 and invited to attend the SDG Tech Awards show on the week 46 as we announce the category winners
Phase 3: SDG Tech Awards
Participate in event-day activities with our community, including:
Solutions Expo and networking
Award presentations and celebrations
Startup pitches
Roundtables
Keynote speakers from the Sustainability Ecosystem
Phase 4: Post Event
Relevant data and solutions summaries from the event through the SDG Tech Awards e-book, including the Top 100 Danish Sustainable Technologies list
Winners receive a digital SDG Tech Awards Winner badge to use on their website, documents, and more
